ARI-hetra Brings Heavy-Duty Transit Maintenance Equipment to APTA Expo 2026

Explore heavy-duty lifting, alignment, wheel and brake service solutions designed to help transit maintenance teams improve productivity and fleet uptime at Booth #1667

Sharonville, OH — ARI-hetra, a leading U.S. manufacturer of heavy-duty vehicle maintenance equipment, will exhibit at the 2026 APTA Expo, October 5-7, at McCormick Place in Chicago. Transit fleet professionals can visit Booth #1667 to see a range of durable and reliable heavy-duty equipment designed to help transit maintenance operations improve safety, increase technician productivity and keep vehicles in service.

Leading the ARI-hetra exhibit will be the Battery-Powered Wireless Mobile Column Lifts. Unlike traditional hydraulic mobile column lifts, these lifts utilize electromechanical ball-screw technology that eliminates hydraulic cylinders, hoses, seals, and fluid. The hydraulic-free design provides precise synchronization, continuous mechanical locking, reduced maintenance, and lower total cost of ownership. And with lifting capacities up to 144,000 lbs., the wireless, mobile design gives transit maintenance teams the flexibility to create additional service space wherever a flat, level workspace is available.

“Transit agencies are under tremendous pressure to maximize fleet availability while managing aging vehicles, technician shortage, and increasingly demanding maintenance schedules,” said Steve Green, Vice President of Engineering at ARI-hetra. “We’re excited to exhibit at this year’s APTA Expo and show transit professionals equipment that can help their teams work more efficiently, reduce maintenance headaches, and ultimately keep more buses on the road.”

In addition to its mobile column lifts, ARI-hetra will showcase a comprehensive lineup of transit maintenance equipment, including:

Together, the equipment lineup demonstrates ARI-hetra’s ability to support multiple areas of the transit maintenance shop, from vehicle lifting and alignment to tire, wheel, brake and suspension service.

ARI-hetra also helps public transit agencies simplify equipment procurement through its Government Purchasing Program, including cooperative purchasing contracts through NASPO ValuePoint and Sourcewell. These purchasing options can help qualifying agencies streamline procurement and reduce the time required to put essential maintenance equipment into service.

Attendees are invited to visit ARI-hetra at Booth #1667 during the 2026 APTA Expo, October 5-7 at McCormick Place in Chicago, to see the equipment firsthand and speak with the ARI-hetra team about solutions for their fleet maintenance operations.
